Our rope access experts
Industrial rope access has been present in the construction and maintenance industry for over 30 years. Over those years, it became a popular and effective solution for many challenges in a range of projects in construction and civil engineering; the built and natural environment. The environmental, efficiency and economic benefits have resulted in growing international support for industrial rope access ahead of alternative means of access. Rope access is a quick and cost-effective alternative to scaffolding, towers and cherry pickers for difficult work positioning.
Our abseiling services company offers high quality, affordable solutions, carrying out rope access cleaning, construction and maintenance services on high-rise buildings and structures since 1997. By cleaning, repairing, protecting and maintaining your building asset, we can help you maximise, retain and maybe even increase your property asset value.
Our team of rope access technicians are trained and qualified through the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) and are experienced, competent, fully trained and qualified in various professions, skills and trades. We provide a complete range of rope access maintenance and repair solutions. By completing works using rope access techniques, we eliminate the need for costly scaffolding or powered lifting equipment.

When do I need rope access?
The London cityscape is an accumulation of diverse buildings, full of angles, drops and places that are decidedly inaccessible. Some buildings are not flat or vertical and it is not uncommon to find rounded turrets, columns, signage, windows or interesting architectural details that require unique workarounds.
As our city grows upwards and advances in technology and computer-aided design and architecture, rope access techniques are often the best and most efficient solutions. This allows for fast and efficient construction, maintenance and cleaning of all variety of buildings that are rapidly emerging around us. Modern buildings are simply too tall to erect scaffolding, such as London’s skyscrapers. Also, if the building is mostly glass, as most modern façades are, the scaffold may be damaging and due to its size, takes up a lot of public space making it inconvenient for a city like London. On the other hand, some of the buildings that are most in need of repair and maintenance are Grade II or Grade I listed historic treasures. Their architectural and historical importance makes it almost impossible to erect scaffolding as it could cause damage to the façade or the structure of the building.
A structure might cost a fortune to build, it might be a towering monument to human achievement, a national treasure and a challenge to the laws of physics, but the chances are it will still need someone on a rope to clean it, fix it and stop it falling apart.
REFERRAL WORK
Over the years, we have successfully completed a range of building construction and maintenance jobs, to name just a few:

- Glazing and mastic application on the Leadenhall Building (Cheesegrater), One Bank Street Building (Canary Wharf) and Park House Building (Oxford Street)
- Cladding installation for the new Tottenham Hotspur Football Stadium
- Lighting installation on Blackfriars Bridge
- Window cleaning for St George’s Wharf (Vauxhall) and One Churchill Place (Barclays) in Canary Wharf
- Building maintenance services for various developers in St John’s Wood (eg. Boydel Court and Parkwood Point)
Why rope access?
Whenever a building has areas that are difficult to access or speed and cost are important, industrial rope access building maintenance can usually provide an effective solution.
The world of facilities management is changing rapidly, with reactive and essential maintenance becoming as valuable as a planned preventative approach.
We can provide a wide range of construction, maintenance and cleaning rope access services in London and surrounding areas. We also provide consultancy, reports, proposals and advice on access strategies and methods on how to reach the specific building work site.
From technical surveys, developing a specification or helping you prioritise planned work and repair activities, we will help you to undertake measured repairs within planned, budgeted, and timed delivery plans.
By undertaking a condition survey, you can obtain details on the overall façade or roof condition. We will identify and map out all weak locations of the building fabric. From failing stone and broken bricks to missing pointing, corroded concrete, slipped lead, blown render or broken tiles; we can provide reports on your building’s current state and propose an action plan. Our work is often non-intrusive and allows the building to stay fully operational.
